2016年2月10日晚上，《中国波普》艺术展开幕式在加拿大温哥华法拉利玛莎拉蒂中心隆重举行。这是法拉利玛莎拉蒂中心专程为欢庆中国新年而举行的一次与艺术跨界合作的盛会，城市中近百名流出席了这晚的开幕式。说到跨界，除了现场展览的近40幅中国传统和当代艺术家的作品外，当然少不了名车与艺术的结合，现场发布了一款带有传统中国画桃花涂装的法拉利California Spider成为了全场的焦点，美女名流纷纷与这款名车合影。

据本次展览的策展人，温哥华华人艺术家协会副会长黄晨女士介绍，本次展览本地华人艺术家都非常踊跃地参与，包括华人艺术家协会会长洪子珺，特地为展览和法拉利中心写了三副贺年对联，为展览增添不少中国年味，还有刘渭贤老师的丈二对开的书法，钟瑞和老师的扇面，尚青的花鸟工笔扇面，还有来自广州83岁高龄的吴祖芳老太太的传统中国剪纸。这些传统的中国艺术作品在西方人的眼中就是中国艺术最好的代表，也是中国人生活中经常接触的大众艺术。因此，十分契合本次展览的题目——中国波普。

除了传统作品，还有很多是中国当代艺术的作品。包括有张义八十年代创作的纸雕系列作品；王广义、丁乙、魏光庆、钟飙、荣荣映里的限量版丝网版画系列；邓瑜的手绘插画和龙邃洋的摄影作品等。这些作品可以说整体涵盖了中国当今艺坛上最受瞩目的艺术家及其作品。尤其是王广义、魏光庆就是中国波普艺术的代表人物，邓瑜则是青年艺术家中新一代的代表人物。因此，整个展览充分反映了当今中国艺术的面貌和活力。

M:黄晨您好！为什么会有举办这个展览的想法？
S：这次是一个非常巧妙的时间，刚好法拉利公司经过朋友联系我想做一个新春年会特别派对，需要有中国特色的艺术品元素。我接到这个消息时间已经非常紧迫，看看自己手上正在推介的艺术作品，感觉是可以呈现出一组特别系列的，结果经过挑选就组合出这样一个展览，感觉效果还不错呢！
M:西方人和主办机构对这个展览的评价如何？
S: 西方人和主办方都对这个展览评价不俗，他们原本预期的没有这么具有特点，这次的现场效果超过了他们的预期，主办方比较满意， 还在派对开幕酒会致辞时特别鸣谢了这个展览，他们还把这个展览的海报收藏保存起来发送到总部。

M:您怎么看艺术与商业跨界这个问题？
S:这是我近期比较关注的一种艺术推广模式，对于独立策展人来说，我认为艺术与商业跨界是一个很值得鼓励多作尝试的一种模式，目前全球经济大环境都不是很好，艺术的欣赏本身就是需要慢慢培养连接大多数受众的高层次精神层面的生活意识形态，原创艺术品如果能够有机会跟高端品牌或者商业机构跨界来对接和推广，是比较容易普及和被接受的，这是一个非常有意义的公众教育和引导推广工作。我们看过无数的艺术和商业跨界合作的成功案例，希望将来有更多这样的合作机会。
M:龙邃洋您好！请问这是您第一次参与温哥华本地的展览吗？
D:是的，这是我移民加拿大首次参加的展览，十分感谢策展人黄晨邀请我参加。我认为，作为一个中国艺术家应该积极参与推广中国艺术的活动，让西方人认识、了解中国艺术、了解中国的文化。尤其在温哥华，这里有很多中国人在这里定居，生活和工作，加拿大也是一个十分平和、十分包容的国家，在这里没有明星的种族问题，政府也很鼓励文化的多元性，因此，这里的西方人都很了解中国文化，很尊重中国的传统习俗。据我所知，中国当代艺术现在收到世界的关注，离不开90年代在郑胜天老师的推动下在温哥华把一波又一波的中国当代艺术家推向世界，为世界所认识。今天，我希望温哥华依然能起到这样的作用，成为中国青年艺术家走向世界的平台！

On the evening of February 10, 2016,《Chinese POP》art exhibition had its opening at the Ferrari Maserati Vancouver Center. This is a sincere event hosted for the celebration of the Chinese New Year by Ferrari Maserati Vancouver. About 100 people attended this event. Apart from the 40 pieces of traditional and modern Chinese artwork, a new Ferrari California Spider was announced with a special livery featuring traditional Chinese blossoms.
On the evening of February 10, 2016,《Chinese POP》art exhibition had its opening at the Ferrari Maserati Vancouver Center. This is a sincere event hosted for the celebration of the Chinese New Year by Ferrari Maserati Vancouver. About 100 people attended this event. Apart from the 40 pieces of traditional and modern Chinese artwork, a new Ferrari California Spider was announced with a special livery featuring traditional Chinese blossoms.
Apart from traditional art, there are also lots of modern Chinese art. This included Zhang Yi’s paper casting; Series of Limited Edition of limited silkscreen prints by Wang Guang Yi, Ding Yi, Wei Guang Qing, Zhong Biao, and Rong Rong An Li. There are series of Deng Yu’s illustration, and Steven Long’s photography. These selection of collections can be said to cover the whole of the contemporary Chinese art scene today the most activey artists and their works. Especially Wang Guangyi & Wei Guangqing is one of the major artist of pop art representatives, Deng Yu is representing the young generation artists float. So this exhibition fully reflects the appearance and vitality of contemporary Chinese art.

M: Hello Sen! What made you arrange this art exhibition?
S: The project came out with great timing. I already had collection of art works resources on hand. Ferrari Maserati Vancouver contacted me through a friend, telling me they would like to present a Chinese New Year party with a vibe of Chinese art. It was a bit of a short notice. However I was able to do it with the resources I had. After choosing the artwork carefully and on site adjustment, I was able to successfully make it. happen.
M: How does the Western audience and the organizer to evaluate this exhibition?
S: The Western audience and the organizer had a high review of the exhibition. This exhibition surpassed their expectations. The organizers are satisfied, also at the opening reception party’s speech, a special thanks to the Chinese POP exhibition.
M:Sen, How do you see the idea of crossing over between art and commerce?
S：From my point of view, this is an new art forum of promotion mode。As an independent curator, I think art and commerce across borders is a very worth to try to encourage more of a pattern, is the current global economic environment is not very good, the appreciation of art itself is need to slowly develop connection most audience of high-level spiritual life ideology, original artwork if you can have the opportunity to crossover to docking with high-end brands or businesses and the promotion, is easy to popularize and be accepted, this is a very meaningful public education and guide the promotion work. We have seen countless artistic and commercial success of cross-border cooperation case, hope to have more cooperation opportunities in the future.
M: Hi Steven, is this your first time participating in a local Vancouver exhibition?
D: Yes. This is my first time participating at a local exhibition as an immigrant. I must thank curator Sen Wong for allowing me to show my artwork. As a Chinese artist, I feel like we should promote Chinese art more, allowing the westerners to understand Chinese art more deeply, and understand Chinese culture better. Especially in Vancouver, where many Chinese people reside, live and work. Canada is a very welcoming country. There are few racial problems here, and the government encourages a multi cultural society. Because of that, many westerners understand Chinese culture, and respects the traditions.
M: Thank you! I believe that through your efforts, Chinese art will be more popular in the world. I wish you a happy lunar new year. Good luck on a successful exhibition.
